SO I wanted to "Save some money" buying used and although the package I got was a great deal, the rifle just did a "oh crap" that I do not know how to correct. At first it was cycling fine the the bolt would not unlock to go into battery. I noticed that the little pin in the bolt was not depressing far enough to press the spring-loaded pin behind it to allow it to drop the bolt down into battery. why I was fumbling with it, the pin (the one in the photo in my hand) fell out. It happened suddenly and I did not notice if anything else came out with it. Th thing is, I don't know what held it in in the first place. In one photo you see me pointing to a hole, that little pin poked out of that and faced forward. as the bolt was brought forward and hot the receiver, it pushed against that pin, pushing the other pin(the one by my thumb) in to unlock it. I had to push a brad nail in there to push it in after the forward pin fell out.
1. Does anyone know how to fix this?
2. Is there anywhere I can buy a replacement bolt set?
Thank you for any help you can offer. I will appreciate all of it.

It does fit into where you are pointing on the block looking part. Normally it has a small spring behind it that pushes it forward. There is also a little ring that the smaller end of the pin fits through and so normally the small end it sticking out. This ring holds the pin in place on the square looking block part. So the ring should be glued in place as you put it in.
If you can't make a ring then you may need something like this: Well Type96 Trigger & STD Cylinder Set / WELL-PT-TY9604 | WGC Shop - Airsoft Supplier
Sorry that it is out of stock

Sorry. I did not see the picture properly.
The pin goes inside the bolt handle. There should be a small hole for it. So it does not go in the rear square back part as that already has a pin in it. That pin will then push against the pin in the bolt handle.

Don't buy the one from Russia as you should be able to fix it.

Maybe the pin that is in my hand has just worn down to the point that its not pushing the pin behind it far enough. That's what seams like whats going on. maybe I can cut a small shim or something and make an "extension" until I can just replace the whole cylinder.

well, I just took everything apart, cleaned it again, even tightened that screw on the back of the bolt a bit and still nothing. that forward pin is just a tad too short to push back the spring-loaded pin. if I put an exacto blade on the receiver where the pin is supposed to hit, it works. the pin had made an indent in the receiver. it hardly seams like it would cause the issue but maybe it combined with the pin being worn? I don't know. maybe I can find a machinist to make me a pin.

There are two pins in the bolt. One to prevent the bolt handle from going down (which is causing you trouble), and another one to prevent the first pin from doing that if the bolt is pushed all the way forward. The second one is loose and can fall out if you do manage to force the bolt down. It can also wear and if it does you'll start having trouble lowering the bolt handle, much like you're describing.

Fixing this is easy: disassemble the bolt handle and remove both pins. Problem solved. The "downside" is that you can now lower the bolt handle even if the bolt isn't pushed forward, but it still clicks into place. Removing both pins also ensures this problem never happens again

I have another question. I understand what the hop up does but how do you correct bbbs from side drift. I am noticing that my .2g bbs are drifting to the right. Aiming at a target 60 yards away, it will drift 10-20 feet right. The bbs I'm using are high grade. Lastly. the rifle had the upgraded trigger assembly and I added the spring and piston upgrade. I do not have a chrono but what would be a good estimate of the fps? Thank you.

You should get heavier bb's than .2g, really. Try .3g at the very least

Curving issues are usually caused by the hopup bucking not being seates straight. Re-assemble the barrel group and make sure the barrel and bucking are placed absolutely upright, that will fix the problem ;)

I don't know what fps you'll get. It depends on a lot of variables. But I will say this: the WELL type 96 does not need an aftermarket spring to reach (and even surpass) 500 fps. I actually cut a coil off my stock spring to keep it below 500.
